Nebraska soccer drops final match to No. 18 Purdue
Nebraska soccer’s 2026 season ended in heartbreak. The Huskers fell 2-1 to No. 18 Purdue on Friday, Oct. 30, in West Lafayette after a late goal. In the final game of her college career, Nebraska soccer senior midfielder Ella Guyott scored in the second half to put the Huskers ahead. This was the first time Nebraska had led in a ranked match since its 1-0 win over No. 20 Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 27. However, Purdue scored two unanswered goals to rip the win away from NU.
