Rogers becomes sole owner of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment after purchasing remaining stake
TORONTO -- Rogers Communications Inc. has officially completed a full takeover of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors, after purchasing the remaining 25 percent ownership stake from Kilmer Sports Inc. for $4.35 billion (Cdn) on Thursday.
